“Non-dominant” Lion activity — Lion Sarah Storrs
• Challenge was to draw the Lions Logo with your left hand if right-handed (or vice-versa); Lion Wayne was voted the winner and received a couple McDonalds coupons.

Treasurer’s Report – Lion Sarah Storrs for Dick Wedin
• Dues & Project Account Balances
• Outstanding Eye Care Applications: 1 pending review
• Outstanding Hearing Aid Application: 1 (aids on order from HAB, letter has now gone out to applicant)

Old Business

• LHSU Update—Lion Sarah Storrs for Liz Whitaker
Reviewed dates:
o School Screening Friday, October 16th (Cle Elum morning, Thorp afternoon)
o Public Screening Saturday, October 17th (Super-1 Parking lot, pending approval)

• Indian John Hill—Lion Wayne Weidert
July 3-6th. Still have a few shifts left to fill; Wayne will email updated schedule

• Mints & Scouts update—Lion Byron Thomas
Need to order more peppermints (the blue ones) from Bill Sheppard. Byron to contact Bill to place our order. Scouts are working a 6 hour shift on Sat and 3 hour shift on Sunday in exchange for us purchasing a flag for them. Byron to contact Gene Ketzenberg at VFW for price on flag/pole.

New Business

• Officer training 6/10 at 7 pm in Naches. Lion Sarah Storrs to attend.
