• Revision of provider agreement needs to be done & sent to Valley Vision (BSVC no longer participating)
• Donation of 3 copy boxes full of glasses for recycling (estimate 300 pairs)

Play It By Ear Bunco Tournament: Lions Liz Whitaker & Sarah Storrs
• Tentitive date: Saturday November 15th, 6:30-9:30 pm
• Locations: Hal Holmes, PUD, St. Andrew’s Church, Ellensburg School District
• Committee Members: Mark-prizes, Cindy-refreshments, Byron and Chris-promotion & tickets
• Sarah & Liz to secure location, tables & chairs, MC, “How-to” on Bunco, hearing loss demonstration

New Business

President Goals for 2008-09
1) Meet all the criteria for the Club President Excellence Award
a. at least 1 new member
b. at least 1 major service project
c. reports turned in on time (monthly membership, annual club officer report)
d. attendance at 2 zone meetings, club officer training, and district/multiple district/international convention
e. new members induction, involved in committee work
2) Organize a LHSU event with local school districts to take place Fall 2009
3) Hold a Deaf/HH awareness event (Bunco tournament, for example) in conjunction with Play-It-By-Ear October 2008
4) Increase White Cane Days 2009 donation by 10% of 2008 amount
5) New “Fine” container (not a urinal)
